1. Karpathos has the best wind record in Europe. The strongest winds and the most consistent wind periods full stop!

2. The wind blows in Afiatis (the windsurfing area) all day and all night, no need to wait for thermals in the afternoon like some of the other greek islands, here you'll be surfing all day.

Every evening youll find windsurfing freinds and the staff at the Bar / restaurant at Anemos. Every week almost every day there is something going on in the area.

Anemos restaurant is open all day (for breakfast through to evening dinner) apart from Saturdays when we close around 6 to prepare for a guest evening in the main town of the island, Pigadia (also known as Karpathos).  We try and offer some traditional greek dishes as well as international favourites. 

Join us to enjoy the town, its amazing restaurants and alot of fun in the bar and clubs. We help arrange taxis so you can come and go as you please.

There are at least 2 party nights with drinks and dancing til late split between Anemos and Baja bar at chicken bay. In peak season people come from all around the island to join the surfers partys and can be known to have hundreds of people enjoying themselves.

Karpathos is a quiet traditional Island, but dont be put off thinking there is nothing to do in the evenings, if your a nightbird there is as much fun as you can handle!

You wont be short of things to do on Karpathos, there are hundreds of unspoilt beaches, boat rides to beaches, small village towns to expore and experience real greek hospitality.
