Surf & Climb week on Karpathos

In the middle of the south Aegean Sea a unique week of Sport is waiting for you.

With our new concept Surf & Climb you get the chance to experience two fascinating Sports! Beginner or Advanced, you will have great fun. The Groups will be divided by experience and ability, so we can guarantee you optimal tuition.

Depending on wind and weather we will be in the water or on the rock. For each, Windsurfing and Climbing , we will have 3 days available! The big advantage is the place where we are located! If there is no wind for Windsurfing, we are immediately on our climbing routes or if the wind is picking up, we are back on the water in a few minutes. We will get as much out of every day as we can - that’s guaranteed.

Windsurf tuition will take place directly at the windsurf station of Club Mistral. Chickenbay, a sheltered bay with a touch-the-bottom area, is providing an ideal area for all levels from novices to freestyler. Teaching will be in small groups from our international and experienced Club Mistral Instructors; the teaching units will be 2 hours per day. For the rest of the day you can use the windsurf equipment for your own training.

Climbing will take place on the unique rock landscape of Karpathos. The Climbing areas are all situated directly by the sea and are perfectly set up for beginners to advanced climbers. Our professional instructors will teach you to climb on secure independent top-rope-routes, knowledge about equipment and knots, safety technique and safety partner-check, also you learn how to lead and secure a climb. We will go for some nice deep water soloing climbs above the water in jumping height, from where you can jump easily in the blue sea.
